Can We Help?

Have you or your loved one been having unusual experiences such as hearing weird sounds or voices, talking to people who are not there, or seeing unusual things or things others do not see?

Have you felt more suspicious, untrusting or withdrawn? Have these experiences made it more challenging to do work or school work or hang out with family or friends?

These and other symptoms can be an indication that you are experiencing psychosis. This is broad term for a range of unusual and often alarming experiences that often start in young adulthood.

They can impact starting college, driving or working and throw off plans toward the increasing independence and autonomy required of adulthood.

My Mission

Innovative, Committed Care

I am dedicated to providing easy access to excellent psychosis care. I am a skilled, dedicated and passionate provider who maintains a very small caseload to enhance your ease of contact. This reduces frustration for the clients and families I serve. It also improves outcomes by reducing delays in interventions.

I do not believe good clinical care has to feel clinical. I have a very playful and empowering approach to reduce stigma and keep client's from the sick role. Using Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy, playful engagement does seem like work. I do not have a physical clinic but rather offer visits at your home, virtually or in community spaces.

I work with young adults ages 18-30 to help create not just a treatment plan but a community. The goal of treatment is to reduce your need for mental health services. Peer-led, community based groups help to create the potential for meeting up outside the program with others who know what this is like. We reduce isolation and stigma through honesty about our experiences and we build community by showing up.

My vision is for this to be not just a clinic but an opportunity to connect and support each other while get back on the path to adulthood.

I serve Kansas residents only in the Johnson County Area for in-person appointments. I can provide telehealth opportunities for youth in Kansas outside of the Johnson County area.
